Itinerary: Private Transportation to Humantay Lake
Pickup in Cusco: Your driver will meet you at your hotel or agreed pickup point in Cusco at the scheduled departure time. An early start is recommended to allow enough time for the drive and hike.
Drive to Soraypampa: Travel by private vehicle through the Andean countryside toward the Mollepata area and continue to Soraypampa, the usual access point for the Humantay Lake trail. The journey offers views of rural communities, valleys, and surrounding mountains.
Arrival at Soraypampa: Upon arrival, your driver will confirm the meeting point and return time. From here, you will begin the hike independently. The trail climbs to a high elevation, so take your time, stay hydrated, and consider your acclimatization before starting.
Independent Hike to Humantay Lake: Follow the trail toward Humantay Lake, known for its striking turquoise water and dramatic mountain setting. You can enjoy the scenery and take photographs before walking back down to Soraypampa. The hike is not guided as part of this transportation service.
Return to Soraypampa: After visiting the lake, return to the agreed meeting point where your driver will be waiting according to the arrangements made before the hike. Please contact your driver if you expect a significant delay.
Return to Cusco: Once you are back at the vehicle, begin the drive to Cusco. Your driver will drop you off at your hotel or another agreed location, completing your private round-trip transportation to Humantay Lake.
